Illegible typography. (Idea's & Experimentation)

The start of some experiments working with the idea of illegible typography. I took the proverb ‘Out of mind, out of sight’ as a basis for these initial ideas. I then tried simply scratching in the type which means the type is formed from the paper itself, which I really like. This type works from different angles, held right in front of you in bright light, the text is hardly visible, held at an angle you can see the different reliefs of the scratches and the type becomes more legible; and held up to the light, you can see through parts of the scratches. I really liked this diversity within the type.
