Progression. (Idea's & Experimentation)

Another update...

We met today to go through stuff and kind of changed the idea again! However, it's not that different, but just seems a lot stronger and could result in some really good work. We all seemed a lot more enthusiastic after the discussion and hopefully things will be looking good from this point onwards.

We're still going down the proverb route. But now looking at proverbs that originate from London, mentioning something that was site specific or makes a remark about something that was once there but no longer. Our original idea of putting proverbs out into the environment relied on the situational graphics being spot on. We came to the conclusion that nothing could be more situational than a proverb that commented on the specific place we place the posters.

Through the way we realise the designs, aesthetically, we can control the tone of the message that we are putting across. I've just bought Brewer's Dictionary of London Phrase & Fable, and there seems to be a wealth on knowledge within there, so on to the search for the right proverbs...
